Delivery Angel is an Australian food delivery platform that works in the same way as others but is FREE for restaurants to use, with no commissions and no subscription fees.
By eliminating fees & high commissions, Delivery Angel allows restaurants to offer you their best prices, look after drivers AND leave more profits in the restaurant till.

Most platforms charge a service fee, usually around 10% of the cart value.
Delivery Angel charges a small service fee of either $0.99 (for pick-up) or $2.49 (for delivery). The service fee supports our operating costs, so we can continue to offer Delivery Angel as a free platform for restaurants & cafes to use.
For any issues related to food quality or missing items, please call the restaurant directly as they’re best placed to issue refunds or resolve an issue in a timely manner. Look for the information icon to locate the restaurant phone number.

Despite everyone’s best efforts, sometimes things can go astray with your delivery. You can track, message and/ or call the driver through the App.
You can also call the restaurant and ask for their help.
You can also ‘rate the driver' through the App once your meal has been delivered. Drivers with the highest ratings will be rewarded with priority in terms of new delivery offers.
This practice is called ‘batching’ and has become the norm to help resolve driver shortages and maximize profits on other delivery platforms.
In our experience, batching tends to result in cold food and a frustrating experience for the customer and the restaurant.
At Delivery Angel we have a strict One Order, One Driver policy.
As independent contractors, we’re not able to stop Drivers from picking-up a second order from another platform but we won’t ever offer multiple Delivery Angel orders to a Driver at the same time.
Our priority is to maximise your chance of an excellent dining experience.
Yes, contactless delivery is our standard procedure. Drivers are told to “Leave At Door (ring bell)” unless otherwise instructed by you as part of the checkout process.
You will be able to track the driver and will receive a notification through the App to let you know when your food has arrived.

Yes, most restaurants offer pick-up as well as delivery through the App. If you can pick-up instead, it’s a win for you as you save on the delivery fee and it’s a win for the restaurant as they don’t need to pay the additional driver cost. Win-win!
Delivery Angel seeks to be the best option for restaurants, customers AND drivers. We partner with a logistics platform for independent contractors (and a sister business) called Rolla.
Rolla drivers are treated somewhat differently to other platforms:
- Other platforms use their power to control the rates paid to drivers. Through the Rolla platform, restaurants themselves determine the rates that are offered to the drivers that they work with.
- Drivers are able to set their own ‘Minimum Delivery Rate’ and are free to accept or reject jobs based on their own preferences, with no repercussions from the platform; and
- Rolla provides safety training and complimentary Personal Accident Insurance for drivers.
We encourage restaurants to pay drivers the best-in-class rates and have minimums in place to ensure fairness.
Delivery Angel is a relatively new platform and we are doing our best to look after restaurants, drivers and customers. We’re trying to grow at a sustainable pace so please bear with us.
