Delivery Angel was founded by two Melbourne restauranteurs, Gabi Machado (MISSCHU) and Dave Ansett (Etto Pasta Bar), business owners who understand the challenges of food delivery.
Unlike the other platforms, Delivery Angel’s purpose is not to make money from restaurants but to help restaurants make money from food delivery.

With Delivery Angel, you are in control of how much you pay drivers and how much you recoup from customers as delivery fees. You can choose to recoup 100% of your cost of delivery with higher delivery fees or you can choose to absorb some of the cost of delivery.

Select the commission rate you’re paying now on the other platforms and enter a Cart Value, Driver Payment and Customer Delivery Fee for a theoretical order. The calculator provides an indication of the costs of delivery with Delivery Angel, so you can compare the ‘Total Cost %’ to your current commission level to see how much you can save!
As an example: Jo Blogs Café pays 30 commission to other platforms and receives an order with a Cart Value of $45 on Delivery Angel.
They’ve set their Driver Rate at $9 and their Customer Delivery Fee at $4.99 for the relevant distance.
The Net Cost % on Delivery Angel is just 11.6% (compared to 30%), saving them $8.27 on the order.
